Happy Birthday Wesley

Well, it is your turn to be embarrassed.
Aren't you glad your friends don't know about this family tradition?
Oh I forgot, I told Dana!
I am sure there were trick candles on the cake, and this is picture prof of my "awesome cake decorating skills! (one of the few cakes, I got out of the pan)

First camping trip!
I had forgotten that you were bald at first, I remember the curls that came later.

Look at you....What a cute kid
Your dad carried you around Yellowstone the entire week.
We didn't want you wandering off the path.
We took some great vacations......none of which you remember of course!

This picture was taken the year we moved into this house in Chino Hills.
I have always referred to you as our Million Dollar Baby.
We had to get a new home, and new car, to accommodate this addition to our family.
The seat belt law took effect, and it wasn't safe to put Brad in the trunk any more!

What a fashion icon you were (are). The boots were your favorite.
We could hardly ever get them off you.
But I don't think you have had a pair of cowboy boots since.
The umbrella is a nice touch.

Had to put a picture that says, at one time Brad was taller than you!
It is wonderful to have a brother, but even better to have that brother as a friend.

It doesn't matter how tall you get or how old you are, you will always be my baby boy.
You are such a kind and loving young man. It was such a joy to pick you up from your mission and meet the people who loved you too! Keep up that school work, it will pay off in the end!
I know I keep bugging you about stuff, but admit it, you have gotten away with lots....."my skin hurts" comes to mind.
Love and kisses to you today. I wish I could be with you. You leave to early for me to do pancakes, (and I am not at home this week) we will do them on Sunday.
Love,
Mom

Happy Birthday Sara

Sara is 2 years old What fun we have had this year! You were big enough to have a grandma "Slumber Party", and to play with play dough, and finger paints, and garden. You can do so many "big girl" things. I am glad you still like to cuddle up and read books. That's grandmas favorite part....that and the hugs and kisses. Have a great birthday.

Happy Birthday Emily

Happy Birthday to my Baby Daughter!!
I don't care what anyone says you were a beautiful baby! I do remember trying to get you to try new foods...It didn't matter what I mixed together to disguise things..you would figure it out and then spit out the part you didn't like!
This picture is all about the shoes, your mom is wearing some very classy looking ones...
you on the other hand...I understand your love of beautiful shoes, and am so glad that you can wear them now!!

You and Taco Dog were good buddies, I understand why now! You got a way with breaking the rule of not feeding that dog from the table. The whole family had matching pj's like yours.(even your dad). Oh my what was I thinking.

The bathing suit is very modest....that is all it has going for it......In those days if you wore it, I made it. Aren't you glad you learned to sew. Your skills amaze me, you are such a talented designer. Some day soon the rest of the world will know that also.

Your grandpa loved you. I wish he could see you now, all grown up, beautiful, talented and with a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He would be very proud of you, as your dad and I are proud of all the things you have accomplished, and all you are doing now!

Couldn't have a post about Emily without a picture of the Sisters. It has been so much fun to watch you and Holly become friends as adults. See how cute you look in the matching dresses. I did the hand embrodery on the collars. If you don't remember, they were for Aunt Lorraines Wedding. Erin had one too, that she wouldn't wear.

Thanks for the little trip down memory lane this morning. I hope you have a very happy birthday. Because your Birth Day was a happy one for me.
Lots of Love is coming your way.
Mom

Happy Birthday Janice

A Happy Birthday to my sweet sister Janice. For 31 years now you haven't had your own celebration, it has been coupled with Brads, and now the rest of the January Birthdays in the Anderson clan. I guess that means you are in our family too!!! We all love you, the kids and the grandkids. It cracks me up that Nora and Sara play "Aunt Janice and Great Grandma", and they take turns with each role. Thanks for all you do for us, and for being willing to join in with our craziness!

Happy Birthday Bradly

Happy Birthday Brad.
You were such a cute baby, with such kissable cheeks. You and your grandpa had a real special bond. This was probably your first trip to Redmond. Why we have a picture with that silly "binky" in your mouth....I hope you have memories of that place. What a blessing for you to have known your great grandmother as well as you did, and to share some special times with her.
This wasn't your birthday party, it was Holly's. How do you like the clothes you are wearing? High fashion...not. I made them. The stripes matched on the side seams, and your dad had a shirt to match.

Look what a cutie you are. The twinkle in your eyes said it all!

You looked so grown up after your hair cut. I don't remember where this picture was taken, I can't imagine you being at a park in your pj's. You were always so excited about everything, and every experience.

I cried when we had to cut off those beautiful curls.

You have grown up to be a wonderful adult. You are kind and generous with both your time and talents. I am so excited that you will soon be a dad. So happy birthday....I hope you have forgiven us for spelling your name in an unconventional manner. Remember it could have been Sebastian.
