Pioneer Cuties

It was so much fun making the bonnetts and aprons. On sunday we had a "Pioneer Family Dinner" Used the cute things the girls made as centerpieces, told our family version of the "Cricket and Seagull" Story. Even had a pioneer matching game. Fun times.

Fun Time with Kyle

I found the secret to getting Kyle to Smile. Let him play in a wading pool. Didn't have to chase him up the stairs our around the house. Between the pool and the bubbles, we had a great time. Sure hope it is hot on Saturday!

Beach with Vaughns Family

I am doing these backwards. The first weekend in June, just after the Bluff trip found my brother Vaughn and his family in California. Of course we went to the beach. We froze, I have never left the beach before dark, and before the last of the fire was out. I couldn't take it anymore, and we were dressed for the cold. Anyway the company was fun! The food was great! Lets do it again soon.

Camping with the Grandkids!

We had so much Fun!! We went to San Clemente State Beach with Holly and Sam's family. On the way there Andy and I discussed whether or not we should be come the grandparents at the local motel....we are so glad we didn't, we would have missed most of the fun. We hadn't used this tent before, it was a little tricky to put up, no directions. (thanks Wes and Dana). But we did it. We can stand up in it. It didn't get all that hot, our big, up on a stand air mattress fit really nicely. The Grandma tent had the treats. The only draw back was the trip to the bathroom at 4 am.

Thank you Holly and Sam for an amazing 4 days. We are going to do this again next year. We hope everyone can join us then.

Adventures with Andy!

I was hoping that you could read the page. But the print is to small. We had an adventure. Andy had his apendix out on Tuesday. It got a little complicated becase of the blood thinners he has been taking. But he seems to be doing fine. He is tired, but doing ok. The flowers are from work, and the card said "Quite Faking it, and get back to work." The Drs. and nurses thought he was a funny guy, and he kept them laughing (except for the few hours right after surgery). We were blessed in many ways.
