November 2011My brother turned 60 this year. His wife Lottie, wanted to have a surprise party for him. Janice arranged for the out of state siblings to come to the party.Vaughn came from Colorado, and Lorraine from Kansas. We all wanted to spend time together, so our job was to keep him away from the house so she could get the preparations done. It was a challenge. But ... we had a great time. We went to the cemetery, had an In-n-Out picnic there (those out of state sibs have an obsession with In-n-Out) went down to the beach and pier, and just had a fun day of hanging out and visiting. Got Ron to the church, I am sure he knew something was up, and a very nice party was given in his honor. He has a lot of friends that love and admire him. He is a wonderful man, very talented and generous, and fun to be around.
